Our soap is designed to thoroughly clean your skin. We follow the W.H.O. recommendations for handwashing:

1. wet hands with water
2. apply soap
3. rub hands palm to palm
4. then fingers interlaced
5. then rotational thumbs
6. fingernails in palms
7. rinse with water
8. dry with towel
9. use towel to turn off faucet

Lotion Information:
Ingredients: hand lotion made with jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, avocado oil, soybean oil, sesame seed oil, vegetable glycerine, and/or aloe vera, as well as the oils listed above.

Apply to clean hands and face to prevent dry skin and chafing.

Aromatherapy is an ancient art that uses the fluid (essential oil) from the leaf, bark, root or petal, or other parts of a plant to aid in healing. The essential oils, which are extracted from the pressed cells of the fruit or plant using a diffusion process, contain the true essence of the plant from which it was derived. Essential oils are not synthetic or petrochemical fragrances.

Any aroma molecule that doesn’t come from a life force isn’t going to have the molecular structure necessary to properly absorb into the epithelium. The American Journal of Hospice & Palliative Care sites an experiment conducted by two doctors at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2002. The respiratory rates of 24 post-cardiac-surgery patients were measured 20 minutes before and 20 minutes after their therapeutic massage treatments. 20% of the patients who used lavender oil during their massage experienced slower, deeper respirations than patients massaged without the essential oil. This led the researchers to conclude that “the oil, therefore, produces a unique therapeutic effect, separate from the positive benefits received through massage or therapeutic touch.”
